Many of the older vehicles have now hit the stage where the upper control arm ball joint is worn. Previously a complete replacement was required with dealers asking around $450 per arm. Owners could take their chances with a junkyard part but there was no guarantee it was any better than what was to be replaced. Installation:

We strongly suggest a shop press for installation with support against the back of the factory cup.  Lift off the boot during installation to prevent damage.  The boot will stay in place via compression between the knuckle and the arm when installed, but a new boot clip is included for the customer to add further retention.
