

Hundredsof hours of development and testing have produced the most advanced andcomplete steering angle kit available for the Lexus IS300 and derivativechassis (SXE10, X-Chassis, GXE10). An easy to set up, extremely strongand resilient kit that stands up to pro competition is finally embodied in ourfirst public release. Over 200 components, many of them custom-designed,allow up to 70* degrees of steering angle and clearance adjustment. This kit isintended for pro/pro-am drivers in sanctioned competitions not for street use.
"TheCompetition Kit"
Our kitis a complete bolt-in kit for the entire front suspension. Only thefactory spindle is reused. The kit utilizes factory chassis mounting points,making it legal in the Formula Drift Pro Class rulebook. You will needaftermarket or flared fenders with at least 2-2.5" of extra clearance.
Deliveryof kits is currently 3 weeks.
Competition Kit Contents:
-Frontcomplete upper control arms
-Frontlateral arms, shock mounts and tension arms complete with bolt -in knuckles.
-FrontSteering rack offset bearing conversion with tubular tie rod.
Competition Kit Features:
-Increasedfront track by 2-3" per side.
-Mobilityto adjust control arms forward for increased caster and firewall clearance.
-Boxedupper control arm with 2 degrees of sliding static caster adjustment. 3 degreesof camber adjustment. Camber adjustment requires
dismount.TIG and MIG mixed process welded.
-Mild steel plate lateral control arm with up to an 1" oftrack width adjustment. Caster arm mounts via 2 bolts. MIG welded by default.TIG welded version available for additional cost.
-Adjustable tubularfabricated, oversized caster arms for increased strength and tire clearance.
-Highsteer clevis-style knuckle to distribute shear loadand provide 0 static Ackerman steering. Ackerman at full lock is 10 degreesdifferent between leading and trailing wheels, the latter having lessangle. TIG welded steel construction.
-Adjustablesteering stop couplers used on steering rack.
-Designedto work with factory brake caliper. Additional angle is possible with a low-profilecaliper.
-Designedfor front sway bar elimination. Sway bar use is possible but will decreasesteering angle. Sway bar kit includes relocation bracket and custom endlinks.
-Fabricatedsteering rack combo spacer and offset adapters with spherical bearings. These eliminate inner tie rod ends and make the entire steering connection aswaged 7/8" tube vs the 14mm connecting rod of most inner tie rod ends.High load wide spherical bearings can withstand 7730 lbs axial load rating.
-3/4"PTFE-lined spherical rod end used at inner and knuckle mounts, providingprecise steering and serviceability.
-5/8"PTFE-lined spherical rod end used at steering connection to outer knuckle withbump steer adjustability.
-Massive1" PTFE-lined spherical rod ends used in caster arm for rigid chassismount.
-Extendedbraided steel brake lines included with kit for increased track and routingoptions.
-Finishedin FIGS standard grey powdercoat. Ceramic coating option is available forgreater impact resistance.
Setup Requirements for Maximum Angle
-Kitrequires upgraded front triangle brace to support load on the Caster armmounts. Brace should have increased plate thickness or stiffness on theconnection between the 2 chassis supports and the #2 bushing mount.
-Wheels:ideally 17x8" or 18x8" with +30 to +20 offset.
-Tireswidth 225-245
-2.5"fender flares or widebody fenders.
-Springsrates of at least 14k front, 16k suggested. 2 ways adjustable shocks.
-Lowprofile BBK or caliper setup similar to our aluminum caliper kits.
Competition Spares
Driftingis a destructive, unrelenting motorsport. While our kits are designedwith the highest strength in mind, sometimes tandem battles and off-trackincidents lead to damage. Our kits are designed to be serviceable andeach component is available separately. Contact FIGS for replacementspares.
Customization
Due tothe modular knuckle design, we can create custom Ackerman angles onrequest. We advise trying the kit first as-is and then placing a requestif you would like specific changes. We are here to make your kit the best itcan be for You, the driver.
Warranty
Unfortunately, we cannot warranty any component failure due tocollision or off-track incident. We will warranty parts due to craftsmanshipdefects under normal use for the period of one year. Rodends are considered wear items and are not covered under any warranty unlessdefective on initial use. All claim approvals are at the sole discretion ofFIGS to determine what will be covered and applies to original purchaser only.
