Making Lowering Simple.
The impact of lowering is dramatic. A GS-F, RC-F, RC, 3IS, and 4GS will see changes to camber, toe and increased tire wear due to the lack of adjustment provided by the factory. This kit provides the major replacements parts to reduce tire wear and add alignment control for a lowered car beyond factory specs.
This Essential Kit includes:
- Rear upper #2 links. Forged CNC machined aluminum links that provide +/- 1.5 degrees of usable adjustment. Available with OE style rubber bushings or high-performance lifetime SuperPro Polyurethane bushings.
- Front LCA Rear Bushing: Corrects critical factory shortcoming of a fluid-filled control arm bushing with a more stable polyurethane bushing. This stabilized toe during braking and cornering and prolongs tire life. 80 durometer for most IS250 and 350 applications and High-Performance 90 Duro bushing for the GS-F, RC-F or spirited driver. GS applications are per the preference of driver. Standard centered bushings are typical. To resolve a slight pull left or right then choose the single offset version. To increase caster then choose the double offset version.
Added option to pre install the #2 LCA bushing into the OEM bracket just like this item.
Note for the RC-F we strongly suggest 90 duro bushings and our SuperPro polyurethane upgrade for support for higher horsepower and weight. Since we have found that the 90 duro does not increase NVH by a noticeable amount we are no longer stocking the 80 duro version. 80 Durometer will add a short leadtime, 3-4 days.
Offset bushings provide suspension correction for caster changes to the front LCA for increased steering response or subframe correction.
