These bushings replace the staked rear inner rubber bushings on the upper control arm with high quality eccentric 95a polyurethane lubricated bushings that will not impact spring rate. Eccentric locating to fine tune camber and wheel placement +/- 0.6 degrees. Note that the rear subframe should be lowered for the install of these bushings.
Sold as a set that includes 2-Bushing sets for to replace all four bushing locations in the rear upper arms, and includes a packet of grease.
Also includes Aluminum Shims for Alloy Arms, if you don't need the aluminum shims just order these bushings.
A shop press is strongly suggested for ease of install.
lower rear sub frame to get access to the UCA bolts
remove UCA and outer upper ball joint (easier said then done ;) ) A pickle fork is usually the only way given the clearance of the upper arm and the knuckle or a specialty canti-ball joint pop tool..
Remove old bushing via any means possible.
Lube new poly bushing and press in first, fill voids and coat the lead in transition.
Press in cylinder shaft second and determine which orientation you would like to add or subtract camber.
reinstall the UCA and the rear sub frame torqueing to factory specs.
