It started as a customer dream, to own one of the more pervasive shock setups used in motorsports and exotic supercars alike.  We took it from there, engineering a custom valved shock and mechanical mounting setup for the Lexus RC-F And GS-F married to the excellent characteristic Swift Springs based on our IS-F development.  The result is a true track predator package that transforms the already capable RC-F into a 911 hunting track monster.  No other shock is used in top-level motorsports racing around the world, in fact, even Lexus Racing USA uses these same dampers in the IMSA racing RC-F GT3 platform.

 

Description:

With TTX-technology and patent-pending internal pressure regulation, this new shock is a step forward compared to other shock absorbers. Ohlins retained the TTX-technology but redesigned the ‘check-valve’ system to balance wide valve openings and quick open/close actions to handle a large volume of oil flow. The ILX Design takes it a step further with a compact, in-line body making remote reservoir mounting unnecessary.

The TTX 36 is a popular choice, especially for GT-cars and prototypes as well as in single-seater applications. This version with an inline reservoir is particularly well suited for cars where size and fitment is an issue. The damper has an inline reservoir with improved internal oil flow and is of a non-through rod type. The configuration out of the box is 2-way adjusted; 1-way compression and 1-way rebound, but is easy to upgrade to become 3- or even 4-way adjusted.

The big advantage with the damper is the integral reservoir that makes it very compact and easy to package and also be possible to use it in applications that do not allow external reservoirs.

-Swift springs front and rear with helpers and thrust sheets.

-Aluminum anodized bodies with ride height adjustment via helper/spring preload.

-Extra-long stroke for full droop and no end condition effects from preload.

-Bumpstop tuned to get the most compression stroke travel possible.

-Complete Spherical mounting

-Front and Rear Clevis mounting Machined Hats.

-Divorced (separate) adjustment for damping compression and rebound.

-Spanner wrenches and hardware included.

-Saves about 30lbs over stock components.

-REQUIRES MORE CLEARANCE IN THE REAR FOR SPRINGS.  19X11 +38 WILL FIT
