Based on market feedback and customer requirements we set out to build the ultimate front upper control arms for you track GS or SC430. Simple setup with thread matching side to side making alignment easier at the track.
Negative camber spec for more track grip. -.5 to -2.5 offset from stock.
Welded and formed steel construction with critically gusseted areas.
Step design for maximum travel clearance.
1.5 Degrees of caster adjustment via FIGS proprietary sliding ball joint design on 6061 alloy carrier. Serviceable for long term use.
Inner mounts feature precision FK 3-P rod ends with PTFE liners and 303 Stainless spacers.
Remove factory upper control arm via 3 mounting points: inner mounts and ball joint.
Preset FIGS upper arm based on relative length to the factory arm, match thread exposure for symmetry.
Test fit and measure static camber with an angle guage (or cell phone app)
Once satisfied with one side, match threads on the opposite side arm to dial in offset.
Lock all jam nuts to "snug "spec(1/8 turn past finger tight).
Remount 3 mounts and torque to factory specs. Note ball joint taper stud should not be flush to allow articulation.
As you dial in your vehicle setup and want to make changes, make adjustments one thread spacing at a time. This will keep symmetry between sides.
Use sliding ball joint carrier and tick marks to dial in caster for more self-centering and easier corner initiation.
